Tokyo- Harajuku and Shibuya (and Ginza too!)
For our second day in Tokyo we started off in Ginza for some expensive shopping- although for some reason Shelley refused to buy me new Burberry rainboots! Then it was off to the madness that is Sunday in Harajuku where we explored the temple, watched many weddings, and made our way through the crowds of people. We also visited the new Omotesando Hills, a new upscale shopping mall (it is in Omotesando, after all) where the floors are all angled so that you never have to take the stairs or escalator to go up or down a level! Then, of course, off to Shibuya for dinner and to watch thousands of people cross the street! Without a doubt, this is my favourite intersection in Japan- maybe even the world.
