Good Morning Shikoku!
Last week for spring break Zach and I headed to the island of Shikoku. Shikoku is Japan's fourth largest island, and is famous for a pilgrimage route (The 88 Temples of Shikoku) that covers the entire island. We did a shorter version- the "two temples, a shrine, and a lot of onsen" tour of Shikoku. Since arriving in Japan I have wanted to take a ferry somewhere, so this was my chance! We took the overnight ferry from Osaka to Matsuyama. It was actually really fun (especially using the onsen on the ferry!) These pictures are of the few minutes of dawn before our 6 am arrival, and our first sighting of Shikoku.
