Kotohira
Zach and I set out from Takamastu to visit the Shrine of Kotohira. It is famous for a 2,000 step climb to the top, resulting in beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We are an hour trainride inland from the Inland Sea, but from the top you can still see the sea. It was especially beautiful because of the plethora of cherry blossoms!

I'm pretending to pose for a picture so that Zach lets me take a break! He seemed to think it was a race to get to the top! This is a trick I have learned.
