Miyajima
Miyajima is said to be one of the three best views in Japan, and it certainly was beautiful. The island is located just outside of Hiroshima and is famous for three things: the floating shrine and its red torii that is in the ocean, the many deer that harass/entertain the visitors, and the rice paddle. That's right- we were visiting the home of the rice paddle! If that doesn't merit a trip to Miyajima I don't know what does! We did have a wonderful time there, and it really was beautiful.
