Let's Go Taiko!
Sunday morning we woke up and headed down south to the town of Terai for Chris' taiko concert. It is always so nice when you get to see Japanese cultural things, such as taiko (traditional drumming), as it reminds us of why we love Japan and what is so special about it. (Even though the people beside Zach who debated for a long time whether or not they could sit beside the foreigner before deciding that they couldn't reminded us of why we don't always love Japan). The little kids were so cute, especially one little girl who just cried throughout her entire ten minute performance. Also, Chris was really good-- we were very impressed by his performance!
